Old Dog, New Tricks
On Saturday I tried my hand at learning something new- Screen Printing! Not the kind using big commercial machines, this class was led by Shayla Johnson of Scarlet Crane (https://scarletcrane.com/about/). Shayla produces gorgeous textiles which are sold locally and online. Caring For Embroidered Items Here are a few tips to keep in mind when laundering your embroidered apparel, household items or accessories: First, pay attention to the manufacturer’s laundering directions and know the fabric content of your item. I use a high-quality polyester machine embroidery thread in my work. It can stand up to most home or commercial cleaning methods.
